Georgetown, ON Canada. Jul 30, 2020. #1. Just had a new salt cell installed---Looks fine and my remote system works. I am getting a code 175 notice. It states Wait/Service. I did put salt in the pool since that is what code 175 indicates. Wonder if I just have to reset something to get the system producing chlorine.

Pull the plug on the cell as if you were unplugging it, but not completely, just enough to where you can get your test probes in there. A 120 code indicates cell service (check, clean, or replace). They also recommend CYA between 50 - 75 ppm (running it at the upper end is better so shoot for 75 ppm). Jandy also states the CYA MUST be at 75 -85 ppm when water temperatures 85 degrees F or above. Don't depend on the builder, read the manual.
